Job Description
As a Printed Circuit Board Reworker, you will be responsible for identifying faults, replacing faulty components, and ensuring the quality of printed circuit boards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Inspecting and testing PCBs for defects thoroughly.
Performing rework and touch-ups where necessary.
Using hand and power tools for repairs effectively.
Maintaining compliance with quality assurance standards.
Keeping informed of technological changes in the industry.
Assisting in training new team members on PCB repair techniques.
Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges.
Scheduling equipment maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
Fostering a culture of safety and respect within the team.
Liaising with suppliers for component quality assurance.
Requirements
Education
Advanced diploma in Electronics or equivalent experience
Experience
Proven experience in PCB repair and reworking.
Technical Skills
Automated optical inspection
Surface-mount technology (SMT) repair
Soft Skills
Communication skills
Advantageous
Experience with automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment: Familiarity with AOI for quality assessment.
Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions: Awareness of safety measures for sensitive components.
