Job Description

As a Milling and Planing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will oversee the operation of machinery used to produce animal feed. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of production operations while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire feed production operation from start to finish.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and prevent downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Report any equipment failures or malfunctions to management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certification in feed milling or related field (desirable)

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in feed mill operations or similar field

Technical Skills

• Experience with feed mixing equipment
• Safety protocols and practices

Soft Skills

• Team player

Certifications

• Forklift license
• Production Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of feed safety regulations: Familiarity with the regulations governing feed production and safety.
• Forklift license: Holding a valid forklift certification for material handling.
