Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pressed or Blown Glass Worker to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for producing high-quality glass items using various techniques and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Produce custom glass pieces for client specifications.
• Manage the glass-blowing process to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Work collaboratively with designers to create innovative products.
• Train junior team members in glass working techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Glass and Glazing
• Trade certification is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Technical Skills

• Glass Manipulation
• Machinery Operation

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in bespoke glass design: Experience working with bespoke or custom glass designs.
• Knowledge of glassblowing techniques: Understanding of traditional and modern glassblowing methods.
