Distribution Agent

Job Description

The Distribution Agent is responsible for coordinating the distribution of goods from a central location to multiple destinations. This includes managing logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery and optimal efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of logistics operations and be able to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily logistics operations to ensure smooth processing of goods.
• Prepare and manage documentation related to shipping and receiving.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed.
• Streamline transportation processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) for tracking shipments.
• Provide leadership and support to warehouse and logistics teams.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

• Experience in international logistics: Background in managing global distribution and supply chains.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding: Experience coordinating with freight forwarders for shipments.
