As a Raw Silk Grader, you will assess the quality of raw silk, determining its grade and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role demands keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of silk grading processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw silk batches for quality assurance.
• Utilize grading equipment effectively to assess silk quality.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports on silk grading.
• Participate in training for new grading techniques and technologies.
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating grading machines.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the grading process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field
• Relevant vocational qualifications are a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in raw silk grading or a related field

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail

• Basic computer skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
