Job Description

As a Kiln Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining kilns involved in the production of ceramics and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials from the kiln as per schedule.
  • Monitor kiln performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal kiln function.
  • Implement safety protocols and training for the team.
  • Report to production management on kiln performance.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Ceramics or equivalent qualification
  • Valid driver's license
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in kiln operations or related roles.
