Job Description
As a Kiln Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining kilns involved in the production of ceramics and other materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring the quality of our products.
Responsibilities
Load and unload materials from the kiln as per schedule.
Monitor kiln performance and troubleshoot issues.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal kiln function.
Implement safety protocols and training for the team.
Report to production management on kiln performance.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
Education
Certificate IV in Ceramics or equivalent qualification
Valid driver's license
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in kiln operations or related roles.
