Job Description

As a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Screener Supervisor, your core responsibility will be to lead and oversee TSA screening personnel at airports, ensuring that all operations comply with stringent security regulations. Your role is critical in maintaining passenger safety through the effective management of screening processes. You will work closely with both your team and other stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, conduct training sessions, and stay abreast of evolving security technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and monitor TSA screening staff operations.
  • Ensure efficient screening procedures for all passengers and goods.
  • Evaluate and enhance screener performance through ongoing training.
  • Interface with airport law enforcement and external agencies.
  • Respond to and resolve security concerns or breaches.
  • Document incidents and maintain compliance records.
  • Lead new screener onboarding processes and training.
  • Keep abreast of evolving security technologies.
  • Assist in policy formulation to strengthen security protocols.
  • Encourage feedback and input from team members to improve operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced security training is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role within security
