Pellet Machine Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pellet Machine Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of our pellet machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the production of high-quality pellets while adhering to safety protocols and production targets in our Melbourne facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for production runs and ensure all safety measures are in place.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily targets.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate III in Manufacturing or similar is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift operator certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in inventory management: Familiarity with managing raw materials and finished products will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing: Awareness of safety protocols will enhance workplace safety.
