Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Geelong. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and project management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems to meet industry standards. Your work will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from conception to completion.
• Conduct mechanical testing and evaluation of prototypes.
• Interface with production teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders.
• Implement best practices for mechanical engineering processes.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for designs.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives.
• Assist in developing training materials for technical staff.
• Establish and maintain project schedules and deliverables.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering

• CAD Software

• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)

• English: Fluent
