Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Hobart, you will play a crucial role in our IT department, helping to resolve technical issues promptly while providing exceptional service to our users. Candidates with a solid technical background and a proactive approach will excel in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve technical support requests via email, phone, and in person.
  • Support the configuration of mobile devices and remote access tools.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment to ensure it functions efficiently.
  • Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits of IT systems.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes for new employees, including hardware setup.
  • Monitor and report on IT system performance.
  • Maintain documentation for all IT support processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree or higher in IT or Computer Science
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
