Job Description

We are looking for skilled Plating Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to ensure our production ran smoothly while maintaining our high standards of quality. The successful candidates will oversee the machinery responsible for plating plastic and metal products, ensuring that specifications are met and processes are followed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for plating operations, including setup and calibration.
• Ensure that all materials used in plating comply with company standards.
• Perform detailed inspections on finished products to guarantee quality.
• Troubleshoot any machine operation issues that arise during production.
• Maintain accurate logs of production and machine maintenance activities.
• Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in plating.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Continuously seek ways to improve plating processes and reduce waste.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Plastics Fabrication or equivalent experience

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a plating or manufacturing role
