Job Description

We are seeking a reliable individual for the position of Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender. You will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of heat treating machinery, ensuring high quality and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate heat treating machinery as per specifications.
• Inspect materials before and after treatment to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to track product integrity.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to heat treatment processes.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant TAFE qualification or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.

Certifications

• High Risk Work License

Advantageous

• Experience with SAP: Proficient in using SAP for production tracking and reporting.
