Job Description

As a Byproducts Pump Operator, you will be pivotal in our operations team. You will manage and operate pumps and related equipment to transfer wastewater treatment byproducts efficiently. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training of junior pump operators in equipment handling and safety protocols.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
• Work with maintenance teams to schedule and conduct repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a waste management or industrial environment (desirable)

Certifications

Languages
