Job Description

The Retort Firer will be responsible for operating and maintaining retorts, crucial for heat treatment processes in the manufacturing sector. This role involves ensuring efficient operations in a high-temperature setting.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the operation of retorts, ensuring adherence to production and safety standards.
• Assist in developing operational guidelines for retort operations.
• Evaluate the performance of equipment and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of retort operations, including any maintenance actions.
• Assist in implementing quality control practices within the manufacturing process.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in relevant technical field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
