Job Description

As a Flight Dispatcher, you will play a pivotal role in planning and monitoring flight operations. Your collaboration with pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground personnel is essential for ensuring safe and efficient flight paths.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate flight operations based on current conditions and forecasts.
  • Act as primary contact for flight crews and ground personnel.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly filled out and maintained.
  • Utilize flight planning software to optimize operations.
  • Communicate effectively during all phases of flight, from pre-departure to landing.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance dispatch processes.
  • Review and analyse previous flight data to forecast operational challenges.
  • Facilitate regular briefings for flight crews regarding operational plans.
  • Collaborate with crisis management teams during any operational disruptions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes in aviation.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Aviation Management or related field
  • Certification in Flight Operations preferred
