Job Description
Become a vital part of our pest management team as an Agricultural Worker. Your role will involve conducting inspections, advising farmers on pest control, and helping to develop integrated pest management strategies.
Responsibilities
Monitor and document pest control activities to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
Develop integrated pest management programmes with a focus on sustainability.
Deliver presentations or workshops to local farmers about pest trends and control methods.
Engage in community outreach to educate about pest prevention practices.
Conduct training sessions for junior staff on pest identification and management.
Analyze field data to identify trends in pest outbreaks and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Biology, or a related field
A certification in Pest Management is a plus
Experience
Minimum of two years' experience in pest management or a related agricultural field
