Job Description

We are seeking a Social Worker to join our team in Geelong. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families. You will provide support and advocacy for clients facing various challenges including mental health issues, domestic violence, and youth services.

Responsibilities

• Assess client situations and determine appropriate intervention strategies.
• Support clients in accessing necessary services such as housing, healthcare, and education.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed to ensure client safety.
• Document client interactions and maintain confidentiality in all communications.
• Develop community partnerships to enhance service delivery.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in social work or related field

• Case Management

Certifications

• Registered Social Worker (RSW)
• Mental Health First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
