Job Description

We are in search of a proficient Interventional Radiology Technician to become a vital member of our team. The right candidate will be adept at conducting diverse interventional radiology procedures, assisting radiologists, and guaranteeing the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in patient evaluations to ascertain medical history and indications for procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment as required.
  • Document complications or adverse events and report to the supervising physician.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental procedures and protocols.
  • Support research initiatives and clinical trials when applicable.
  • Encourage a positive environment and uphold the facility's values.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to workflow enhancements.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure appropriate supply levels for interventional procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiography
  • Postgraduate qualification in Radiology is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience specifically in interventional radiology
