The Hand Picker plays a critical role in our production team by selecting and picking fresh produce by hand. Ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety is fundamental to this position. Responsibilities

• Ensure efficiency in picking and packing operations.
• Participate in routine maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in training new staff on processes.
• Monitor and report any discrepancies in orders.
• Maintain records of produce picked and packed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Experience with agricultural tools
• Knowledge of produce types

Soft Skills

• Reliability
• Communication

Advantageous

• Previous experience in agriculture: Experience in any role related to agriculture or horticulture.
• Ability to operate machinery: Knowledge of basic agricultural machinery is a plus.
