We are seeking skilled Logging Workers to join our team. As a Logging Worker, you will be responsible for operating machinery and performing tasks related to the harvesting of timber. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize GPS technology to identify logging areas.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Work in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and training workshops.
• Support the team in emergency response situations when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Timber Harvesting or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in logging or forestry operations

Technical Skills

• Safety compliance

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with timber measurement and grading: Skilled in assessing timber quality and compliance.
