Job Description

We are seeking a skilled First-Line Supervisor to oversee our construction trades personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and extensive knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate repair and maintenance work on railway tracks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance performance.
  • Manage scheduling efficiently to minimise downtime.
  • Enforce safety protocols to foster a safe workplace environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Certificate in railway track maintenance and inspection
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in railway track maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
