Surveying and Mapping Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Surveying and Mapping Technician to join our dedicated team. This role requires a hands-on approach to collecting, analysing, and processing geographic information for engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in using surveying tools and GIS software.

Responsibilities

• Utilise GIS software to map and analyse project sites.
• Monitor and manage survey projects from initiation to delivery.
• Interpret and present data findings to project teams.
• Create and maintain project documentation related to survey activities.
• Conduct field measurements accurately and efficiently.
• Engage with clients to understand their project needs.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the survey process.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications are desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the surveying or mapping field

Certifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
