Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Structural Iron and Steel Workers to join our dynamic team. You'll play a critical role in designing and fabricating metal structures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
• Perform welding, soldering, and other metaljoining techniques with precision.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress.
• Document fabrication processes and maintain production logs.
• Promote a clean and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
• Diploma in Engineering (Metal Fabrication) is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a metalworking environment

Technical Skills

• CNC Machining
• Advanced Welding Techniques

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Forklift License
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management: Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations: Strong understanding of OHS practice within the metalworking industry.
