Job Description

As a Structural Iron and Steel Worker, you will play a crucial role in our underground mining operations. Your expertise in bolting and support installation will contribute significantly to the safety and efficiency of our projects. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in structural steelwork and a solid understanding of mining processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanized bolting tasks on-site.
• Ensure regular maintenance and checks of machinery.
• Provide support during the planning and execution of underground operations.
• Monitor quality of work and maintain a high safety standard.
• Assist in assessment and reporting of work progress.
• Engage with team members to promote a positive work environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in processes and procedures.
• Help identify and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualifications in steel fabrication or welding

Experience

• 5+ years in structural iron and steel work within mining environments.
