Job Description

As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you'll play a vital role in our medical imaging team by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology. Collaborate closely with physicians and radiologists to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate imaging results.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic MRI procedures with precision.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI technology and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist with new technology implementation and training.
  • Document patient interactions and imaging results accurately.
  • Participate in audits and reviews for quality improvement purposes.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  • Mentor new employees and provide hands-on training.
  • Support departmental initiatives to improve patient experiences.
  • Assist in the management of equipment maintenance and inventory.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Experience
  • Experience with advanced MRI techniques, such as functional MRI (fMRI) is preferable.
