UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team in Geelong. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing innovative design work and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to create engaging, effective user interfaces that enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through execution.
• Use feedback and data insights to evolve our design approach.
• Collaborate effectively with marketing to ensure cohesive branding.
• Create and maintain detailed specifications for designs.
• Evangelise user-centred design principles across the organisation.
• Document design processes to share knowledge with the team.
• Engage in cross-departmental projects to enhance overall user experience.
• Explore new tools and methodologies to enhance design efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in user experience design

Technical Skills

• User Testing
• Prototyping Tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile app design: Familiarity with designing for mobile platforms to enhance usability.
