Ambulance Driver

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Ambulance Drivers to provide safe and timely transportation for patients. The ideal candidate should have a strong emphasis on patient care and the ability to work under pressure, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Act promptly in emergency situations to provide patient care.
• Support patient stabilization during transport.
• Record vital signs and relay information to medical personnel.
• Assist in loading and unloading of patients from the ambulance.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure reliability.
• Be familiar with local geographical areas to optimize route planning.
• Engage in community outreach programs as a representative of the service.
• Complete paperwork related to patient care and transport accurately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in Patient Transport or similar

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in driving, preferably in emergency transport

Technical Skills

• Driving Skills
• Basic Life Support

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics

Languages

• English: Fluent
