Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Assist with the development of maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Train junior technicians and apprentices in best practices.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Support safety audits and compliance checks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant qualifications in Engineering Management preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of mechanical technician experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Hydraulics and Pneumatics
• Welding and Fabrication

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in project management: Experience leading projects to timely completion.
