Job Description

As a Sider at MetalWorks Australia, you will be at the forefront of our metal fabrication processes. Your role will involve fabricating, installing, and maintaining metal structures, fixtures, and fittings to meet the highest standards of quality. We're looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to contribute to our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement improved welding techniques to enhance efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to procure necessary materials.
• Assist in larger project management tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Work with design engineers to troubleshoot and optimise designs for fabrication.
• Support the installation team in the on-site assembly of metal products.
• Take part in site visits to inspect installations and ensure safety.
• Document and report any discrepancies or defects in materials or processes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and strategies.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
