• Process and evaluate insurance applications in a timely manner.
• Help maintain underwriting files and databases.
• Assist in the development of risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Communicate risks and findings to underwriters effectively.
• Provide accurate data entry and management.
• Participate in team meetings to enhance workflow and efficiency.
• Conduct audits of records for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the training of new staff as needed.
• Organise information and documentation for reviews and reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• Underwriting Software (e.g., Applied Epic, Vertafore) Proficient in using industry-standard underwriting software.
• Microsoft Office Suite Strong competency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Attention to Detail Exceptional attention to detail in data handling.
• Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organisational Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• English (Fluent)

• Experience in Commercial Insurance Underwriting: Familiarity with underwriting processes specific to commercial insurance.
• Knowledge of Australian Insurance Regulations: Understanding of local compliance and regulations in the insurance industry.
