Job Description

We are looking for skilled Rail Car Repairers to join our dedicated maintenance team. The ideal candidates will have experience in diagnosing and repairing locomotives and railcars, ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections on railway vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Utilize computerized diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Replace faulty parts and components to maintain equipment reliability.
• Work with a team to respond quickly to urgent repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Assist in training new staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a relevant trade certificate or apprenticeship in a mechanical or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the railway or heavy equipment industry.
