HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to be part of our HR team in Geelong. This role involves managing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of HR policies and employment law, along with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and managing candidate communications.
• Support new employee orientation and integration into the team.
• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries regarding HR policies.
• Assist in implementing performance management systems and employee development initiatives.
• Ensure the accurate maintenance of employee records and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to the development of HR policies and practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field
• Master's degree in HR or an MBA is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience

• HR Software

Certifications

• Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
