Job Description

Join TimberWorks Australia as a Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender. You will be responsible for effectively managing sawing equipment to process timber, quality-checking the finished products, and collaborating with team members for seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for operation including calibrating settings based on job requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks for optimal machine performance.
• Perform quality control checks throughout the production process.
• Adjust operational techniques as necessary to improve efficiency.
• Transport finished goods to designated areas without damage.
• Document production data and report to management daily.
• Assist in inventory management of raw materials and finished products.
• Support safety initiatives to ensure compliance with workplace regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Sawmilling and Processing is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Machinery Maintenance

Languages

• English: Fluent
