Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing health promotion strategies, conducting community health assessments, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. You'll have the opportunity to lead initiatives aimed at improving public health standards and advocating for the wellbeing of all community members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead public health campaigns to address local health issues.
  • Work with local organizations to coordinate health programs.
  • Research and analyze public health data to inform health policy.
  • Identify areas for improvement in community health services.
  • Prepare educational materials for public distribution.
  • Attend community meetings to discuss public health concerns.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health programs and recommend improvements.
  • Manage grants and funding for health initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or health promotion
