Job Description

Join our team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant, where you will support therapists in assessing and treating patients. Your role will involve helping to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, while ensuring their comfort and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and document findings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with therapists.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities to encourage participation and recovery.
  • Maintain clear and accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Support additional healthcare initiatives as directed by supervisors.
  • Participate in team meetings to share patient insights and treatment updates.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols in patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and other team members.
  • Promote patient education and self-management strategies.
  • Perform any other duties as required by management.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate in Occupational Therapy Assistance or related field
  • Associate degree in a relevant healthcare discipline is an advantage
Experience
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
