Job Description

As a Commercial and Industrial Designer at Creative Glassworks Pty Ltd, you will utilize your artistic abilities to design and implement beautiful stained glass projects. You'll engage in thorough discussions with clients to understand their needs, applying your creative flair to develop visually captivating solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create unique stained glass designs for a variety of applications.
• Produce accurate technical drawings and specifications for fabrication.
• Select variations in glass for optimal aesthetic and structural outcomes.
• Collaborate with clients, other designers, and contractors for cohesive project development.
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met in all design and installation phases.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in glass design and artistry.
• Practice effective project management to ensure timely completion.
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Design, or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D Modelling Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management software: Experience using project management tools to oversee project timelines and budgets.
