Job Description

As a Switchboard Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, responsible for managing and directing incoming calls efficiently. You will ensure that each caller is routed to the appropriate department, enhancing our customer service reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor call traffic and adjust routing based on volume.
  • Keep detailed logs of inquiries and resolutions for future reference.
  • Train new staff on PBX operations and customer service protocols.
  • Assist in the creation of communication documentation.
  • Work closely with teams to enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in telecommunications or related field preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a PBX operator role or similar
