Job Description

As a Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery that processes various materials. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Configure cutting machines prior to operations based on job specs.
• Examine materials for defects and assess finished products for adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular machine cleaning and maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Stay updated on safety protocols and company policies.
• Adjust machine settings to enhance production efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
• Assist in inventory management of materials and supplies.
• Support the training of new staff in operational procedures.
• Record machine usage data and report performance metrics.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Print Manufacturing or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in operating cutting machines or similar equipment

Technical Skills
