Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will evaluate and treat individuals with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others and skilled in designing individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify communication disorders.
  • Create personalized therapy objectives and methods for effective treatment.
  • Deliver therapy in both individual and group settings.
  • Assess and adapt treatment plans to meet evolving patient needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and outcomes.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote speech therapy.
  • Collaborate with educational professionals for students requiring speech services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in practice.
  • Assist in training and supervising junior staff and interns.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to service improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology preferred
  • Additional certifications in specialized fields of speech therapy are advantageous
Experience
  • Experience specifically with pediatric populations is preferred
