Job Description

As a Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and other parties to gather detailed information.
  • Analyze evidence and documentation to make informed decisions about claims.
  • Negotiate and finalize settlements in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide training and support to junior adjusters as needed.
  • Assist in dispute resolution where applicable.

Requirements

Education
  • Tertiary qualification related to insurance
  • Advanced qualifications preferred
Experience
  • Experience with property, motor or liability claims preferred
