Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Geelong. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing construction projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Conducting feasibility studies and assessments on project sites.
• Preparing project proposals, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams.
• Managing project budgets and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluating design changes and assessing the impact on project schedules.
• Ensuring that projects adhere to environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional certifications in civil engineering are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Civil Engineering Software
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• LEED Green Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM): Knowledge in BIM methodology for detailed project visualisation.
