Job Description

As an Explosives Worker or Tunnel Worker, you will be integral to our projects. Your responsibilities will involve excavating, blasting, and supporting tunnel construction activities. This position requires collaboration with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, ensuring safety compliance and efficient operations. You'll be expected to operate various machinery and equipment, while also maintaining a keen eye on safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Excavate and clear materials safely and effectively.
• Execute blasting operations in accordance with guidelines.
• Conduct pre & post-operation inspections of machinery.
• Work with a team to ensure project goals are met timely.
• Report any hazards or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency response planning.
• Assist in the documentation of project progress.
• Help ensure adherence to environmental standards.
• Support the team in achieving high-quality work standards.
• Facilitate communication among team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience operating tunnel boring machines is beneficial.

Languages
