Job Description

We are seeking skilled pipelayers to join our expanding team in Brisbane. The successful candidates will be responsible for laying and repairing pipelines, ensuring high standards of quality and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of pipelines including water, gas, and sewer lines.
• Perform trench work and ensure proper backfilling.
• Assist in managing site materials and resources.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow environmental regulations and sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Trade certificate in plumbing or pipelaying preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the construction or pipeline industry

Technical Skills

• Blueprint interpretation
• Leak detection methods

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Asbestos Awareness Training
• Confined Space Entry Training

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Welding skills: Basic welding skills for repairs on metal pipelines.
• Experience with project management tools: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project or similar for tracking progress.
