Job Description

We are looking for skilled Furnace Operators to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidates will operate and maintain various furnaces, kilns, and driers, ensuring quality production and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of kilns and driers, ensuring product quality.
• Conduct inspections of equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Collaborate with quality assurance staff to meet production standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior operators on best practices.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols during operations.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and supply levels for operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Engineering - Metallurgy is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience operating specialized furnaces.

Languages
