Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Feeder and Offbearer to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and laying veneer sheets onto furniture, ensuring high-quality finishing and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare veneer sheets before laying.
• Label and categorize materials based on specifications.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Support other production tasks as needed.
• Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move supplies safely.
• Participate in regular safety training and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Trade Certificate or Diploma

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in woodworking or furniture manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Adhesive Application Techniques
• Machine Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving Skills

• Experience with Various Wood Species: Knowledge of different wood species used in timber production.
