Job Description

As a Biosafety Officer at Environmental Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring laboratory safety and compliance with biosafety regulations. You will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing safety protocols, and providing guidance on best practices to ensure the safety of all personnel and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement biosafety protocols in compliance with regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments on laboratory practices and equipment.
• Provide training and guidance for staff on biosafety measures.
• Monitor laboratory practices to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Investigate and report on accidents and safety incidents.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to stay updated on biosafety legislation.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to biosafety operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences
• Master’s degree in Environmental Management is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in laboratory safety and risk management

Certifications

• Biosafety Management Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
