Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our experienced team in Toowoomba. In this role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing preventative care to ensure the well-being of pets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostics.
• Perform surgical interventions and follow-up care.
• Administer anaesthesia safely and monitor patients during procedures.
• Manage pain relief and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with specialists for advanced diagnostics.
• Engage in continuing education and skill development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in veterinary medicine are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience

Certifications

• Advanced Veterinary Practice Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with behaviour medicine: Experience in addressing behavioural issues in pets.
