Soccer Coach

Job Description

As a Soccer Coach, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and character of our players. You will design and deliver training programs that focus on player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with an emphasis on youth development.

Responsibilities

• Develop programmes that enhance individual skill sets and tactical understanding.
• Supervise training sessions and competitive matches, ensuring player safety and skill growth.
• Work with parents to communicate player development and encourage involvement.
• Adapt coaching methods to the needs and abilities of the players.
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe environment for practices and games.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on coaching techniques.
• Implement innovative coaching tools and technologies to enhance player performance.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum Level 1 Coaching Accreditation (FFA/AFC)
• Current Working With Children Check
• First Aid Certificate

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience coaching at either senior or junior levels.

Advantageous

• Experience playing at a professional or semi-professional level.: Background in competitive soccer can augment coaching effectiveness.
