Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technician to join our eye care team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic tests and assisting in various ophthalmic procedures, ensuring that our patients receive top-notch care.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and specialized ophthalmic tests.
  • Prepare patients for examination by explaining procedures and answering questions.
  • Monitor patients' comfort and safety during examinations.
  • Assist in the development of patient education materials.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Support administrative functions as required, including appointment scheduling.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training.
  • Share knowledge with team members to foster a culture of learning.
  • Provide feedback to improve operational processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in related field is preferred
Experience
  • Hands-on experience in ophthalmology is an advantage.
