Job Description

Join our team as a Veterinarian in Alice Springs, where you'll provide top-quality care for our diverse array of animal patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgeries, and educating pet owners on preventative care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose health issues in animals and develop treatment strategies.
• Perform surgical procedures, including spaying/neutering.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Guide pet owners in proper nutrition and health care.
• Document patient interactions and maintain electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians and specialists as needed.
• Conduct educational seminars and workshops for community engagement.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare and veterinary regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic.
• Foster strong relationships with clients based on trust and care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Specialisation in a particular area of veterinary medicine is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in clinical practice
